Genesis – Painting. 2009–2012
These first paintings began three years after the sculptures — the same hands, now working in reverse. Where the sculptures released material upward toward its essence, these works ground abstract, intuitive concepts down into embodied form. It was in this current that Field Dynamics was born — and where, in 2012, barely three years in, the paintings found their first public home: an exhibition at Haus am Lützowplatz in Berlin.
